This city is a myth. Often considered as one of the most beautiful city in the World. The most beautiful would say the most chauvinistic French. One can argue but they wouldn't be far from the truth as the city has managed to save its fantastic architectural heritage by prohibiting sky-scrappers. Not a proper megalopole but a succession of districts with their charms. Montmartre and its narrow streets, the Seine banks or the Grands Boulevards and their famous shops are perfect for a long walk and art lovers will be delighted with museums such as le Louvres and its Mona Lisa, Orsay Museum and its impressionnist paintings or Pompidou Center. And of course, not to be missed, the most prestigious buildings of the French Capital : the Eiffel Tower, the Arc of Triumph on the Champs Elysées or the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris. Even if hundred of small sites, less famous, are also worth a visit.
And discovering Paris does not mean you have to stop at the city limits. A few minutes away, Versailles or Vaux le Vicomte home two of the most beautiful castles in Europe although children will probably prefer the castle of Sleeping Beauty that stands at the heart of the Disneyland theme park not far from the city center. There will be something for everyone.
