The Vallon de la Jarjatte leans against the Dévoluy mountains, offering a beautiful and listed nature site. This mountain valley, surrounded by high cliffs and rocky crags, stands out for its calcareous summits, dominating hills covered with forests, offering a great contrast between minerals and vegetation. The highest point, the round rock (2453 metres), can be recognised by its sharpened tops. The mountain stream of Trabuech crosses the valley. Three hamlets set on the river bank, including La Jarjatte, built in a typical mountain style. The valley, ideal for hiking and outdoor sports in summer, also holds a ski resort in winter.
